Weapon System Development Facility since WWII

"Arming of the Fleet" is a comprehensive review of weapon system development and testing at China Lake California, the original "Secret City" of weapons development during World War II. I enjoyed the linkage between the weapons development and technology transfer to private industry for the benefit of the civilian public. Increased research and development of technology for communication, radar control, and fuels are and will affect the United States technological advancements. I love this as a great documentary review of weapon systems that protect our Freedom. This is a great book by a very talented research author.
